Lorensen Auto Group presents Connecticut Foodshare with a $21,350 donation
The donation represents proceeds from their annual Drive, Support, Deliver campaign, helping provide meals to Connecticut residents who are food insecure. Participating Lorensen Auto Group dealerships Acura of Avon, Acura of Milford, Honda of Watertown, Westbrook Honda, and Westbrook Toyota pledged a monetary donation for every car or truck sold between Black Friday and December 31, 2025. The Connecticut-based auto group has collectively raised over $86k in support of the organization since 2021.
Over 500,000 Connecticut residents are food insecure.
Connecticut Foodshare supports individuals and families statewide by addressing root causes, creating long-term solutions, and distributing food to alleviate hunger.
"The donations from Lorensen have helped us provide over 170,000 meals across Connecticut"
"We are honored to be able to do our part in supporting our local communities. We are thankful for our loyal customers without whom this would not be possible," says Sam Elmazi, President/Owner of Lorensen Auto Group. "This is just one example of the many ways we are driving hope in our communities." "Connecticut Foodshare is grateful for the support from Lorensen Auto Group, supporting our food-insecure neighbors and friends. Over the last six years, the donations from Lorensen have helped us provide over 170,000 meals across Connecticut,” says Tim Buzzee, Director of Corporate & Community Giving.
