Honda Prologue Electric SUV: Specs & Features

This SUV features a powerful electric motor and an 85-kWh battery pack under the hood, which delivers up to 288 horsepower and up to 300 miles of 2024 Honda Prologue range on a single charge! Honda has not yet released pricing details for the Prologue, but there will be five trims to choose from: 2WD EX, AWD EX, 2WD Touring, AWD Touring, and AWD Elite. In addition to strong performance specs and near-instantaneous torque and acceleration, the Prologue will feature a premium cabin with the latest high-tech features, as befits its status as an innovative electric vehicle. Honda Prologue Charging

When it comes time to recharge your Honda Prologue battery, you can do so at home or on the go. Honda is committed to making the process of charging your SUV as smooth and stress-free as possible, so they can help you install a home power charger and even give you discounts on equipment! The Prologue is also equipped with the Honda Smart Charge system, which will tell you the most cost-effective times to charge your battery. Here are the three main levels of Honda Prologue charging:

• Level 1 (120v): This charger plugs directly into a standard three-prong outlet–no extra equipment is necessary! It’s the most convenient and affordable form of charging but it’s also the slowest, often taking multiple days to fully recharge the battery.
• Level 2 (240v): Level 2 charging is the most common type of home charging used by Southbury drivers. This charging apparatus has to be professionally installed by an electrician, but it’s much stronger than Level 1 charging, typically recharging the battery in 8 hours or so.
• Level 3 (DC Fast Charging): This type of charging is currently only available at public stations, but it’s incredibly powerful. Honda estimates that a public fast-charging station can add up to 65 miles of charge to your battery in just 10 minutes!
